Circular Solutions to Organic Waste

WHO WE ARE

Recover, Rotate, Regenerate

Drawing inspiration from the humble dung beetle, we embody the essence of transformation and renewal.

Tumblebug has created a transformative web of circular solutions tailored for organic waste management, guided by a planet-centred design philosophy.

Recover: We uncover the hidden environmental, economic, and social value in organic waste, turning overlooked resources into appreciated assets.

Rotate: We circulate carbon, nutrients, and the valuable products we craft, ensuring a cascading cycle of abundance and sustainability.

Regenerate: We rejuvenate the soil, our climate, our economy, and our biosphere, sowing the seeds of a brighter, more resilient future.

OUR SERVICES

Circular Solutions to Organic Waste Management

Tumblebug has created a transformative web of circular solutions tailored for organic waste management, guided by a planet-centred design philosophy. Our innovative approach seeks to perfectly balance the needs of our clients with the available organic waste resources, employing seamless and low-impact techniques to repurpose organic waste from an environmental liability into a valuable asset.

FOOD WASTE

Tumblebug machines enable organic waste to be shredded, dried and sanitised, on-site, reducing the weight of your organic waste by up to 90%.

Through pyrolysis, we transform dried organic material into Biochar which removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.

We create holistic solutions to convert organic waste into valuable products with minimal impact on daily operations: enabling sustainable, meaningful change.

Tumblebug on Farming Today

This week we look at ways of using waste and by products from agriculture for something useful. The Blenheim estate in Oxfordshire is in the middle of a trial to turn its organic waste, including manure and sheep wool, into material that can be used to boost soil quality or as part of an organic fertiliser.

Ecobots on the BBC

The Unesco World Heritage Site has partnered with environmental consultants Tumblebug for a six-month pilot. Roy Cox, the palace's managing director of estates, said the move was "a major step" towards its net zero pledge.

Organic Waste at Country Estates

Blenheim Estate has announced a ground-breaking partnership with visionary environmental consultants Tumblebug, on a six-month pilot project to transform all of their organic waste into a self-sustaining circular ecosystem.

Sustainability Case Study

As COP28, the United Nations annual climate change conference, approached, staff and students at Abingdon have been further focusing on environmental issues and the part our schools can collectively play to help reduce climate change.

Sustainable Garden Centres

There is an increasing awareness of the problem of food waste in garden centre restaurants, and new technologies are emerging to tackle the problem.

Food Waste Management in Schools

Abingdon School, a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, has chosen an Ecobot food waste dryer to manage food waste on-site rather than paying for it to be sent to landfill or incineration.
